Technical Support
Windows and Mac
Over the years I have learned what I can and cannot help with when things go wrong. Here is a check list to help you before you call.- Check all power cords that they are securely in the wall and in the device in question
- Check the power running to the outlet. Is it controlled by a light switch on the wall?
- Check the surge protector power switch
- If the device in question runs on batteries make sure they have a full charge
- If you wireless mouse stopped working and/or acts irradic, please check the batteries
- If you have a wireless laptop and it has stopped getting an internet signal all of the sudden, check for a switch or key combination to activate signal again. Call your internet service provider if you know you have a wireless signal from your router, but no connection to the internet. Also call a neighbor that uses the same provider and see if they are having problems and it is an outage problem.
